The cheapest models are free every day, up to a daily limit. Past the limit, and on the stronger models, credits are how you pay the AI for its work — an advertiser pays us for a completed offer, and most of that comes back to you. Nothing starts on its own: you open the offerwall when you run out.

Three smaller ones need no offerwall at all:
- A daily streak. The grant rises each consecutive day, through the seventh.
- Rate an answer. Every fiftieth turn, and it pays the same either way.
- Invite someone. Both of you are credited on their first completed offer.

While the agent waits for a model, one dim row sits above the input box. Usually ours — a tip, a shortcut, what your model costs. Sometimes an ad, marked before the text. Nothing to click, and it never interrupts the run.

How many coding turns does one of those buy?
A turn is one question and one answer: read four files, change two lines, explain why. The table counts them for every model in the catalog, from one offer at the median CPX payout.
A turn is about 20,000 tokens in and 1,500 out; a token is roughly three quarters of a word. Every figure counts from the median completed CPX offer, credits, so half of those offers paid less.

What is a coding agent?
A program you run in your terminal that works inside your project: it opens files, edits them, and runs commands like your test suite. Clixad shows you a diff of every change it wants to make and waits for you to approve it.
Is Clixad free to use?
Yes. There is no subscription and no card. You get 25,000 credits when you sign up. After that you top up by completing an offer on the offerwall, credited on completion, and smaller grants arrive without a wall at all: a daily streak, rating an answer every fiftieth turn, and inviting someone who goes on to complete their first offer. Buying credits is possible, but never required.
How does Clixad make money?
Advertisers pay us for a completed offer, and a little for a sponsored line shown in the terminal. Most of that money goes straight back out to you as credits and we keep a small share. That share is the whole business, which is why the free tier is not a trial that quietly runs out.
Do I have to watch ads?
Only when you want more credits, and you choose which offer. You are credited when the advertiser confirms you finished. Being screened out part way through is the normal case, not a fault, and pays nothing or a small bonus. No offer opens on its own: you go to the offerwall yourself. The one thing you do not start is the sponsored line: one dim row in the terminal while a model call runs. You can switch it off.
Which AI models can I use?
All of them. Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite, Kimi K2, Claude Haiku 4.5, GPT-5.2, Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Opus 5 are funded the same way. There are no locked tiers: a stronger model costs more credits per turn, so it costs more of your time.
Can advertisers see my code?
No. Your code, your prompts and the name of your project are never sent to an advertiser. Offers open in a separate page in your browser. The sponsored line in the terminal has no field a prompt could travel in. It is fetched from the ad network by your machine, though, so they see your IP address, the way any site you open does.
